In the last 45 years, what began as a referral service inside a San Mateo home has flourished into the Samaritan House we know today: San Mateo County’s leader in the fight against poverty. This year alone, we made sure nearly 15,000 of our neighbors in need were fed, clothed, healthy and housed and we expanded our reach with the opening of Samaritan House South in East Palo Alto.
