We wanted to extend our heartfelt thanks to those who attended Samaritan House’s ribbon-cutting ceremony for our newly renovated San Mateo Free Clinic. Your presence made the event truly special, and we are grateful for your support as we celebrated this important milestone.

Our clinic is now better equipped to serve the community, offering expanded services and a more welcoming environment for the 2,000 patients we care for each year across our San Mateo and Redwood City sites.

During the event, we were moved by Jackie Speier kicking off a spontaneous fundraiser and pledging the first donation, and we are extremely grateful to those who contributed.

The story shared by our CEO, Laura Bent, about Luis—a patient who overcame his fears to receive life-saving care at our clinic—is a story we hear all too often. It is stories like his that drive our mission to provide dignified, holistic care to those who need it most. With your support, our clinic will continue to be a beacon of hope for our community.
