Samaritan House is grateful to have received a Challenge Grant by the Sobrato Family Foundation and we have made some headway towards meeting the challenge, but we have more to do and we need your help!. This Challenge Grant will match up to $103,000 if Samaritan House can raise up to $103,000 in new or increased cash donations (from non-government sources) by August 14th 2015. So if you donated last year, any increase in your gift this year will be doubled and for new donors, the entire amount will be matched.
If the challenge is met, the Sobrato Family Foundation will provide a second year grant of $108,150 over the next fiscal year to benefit Samaritan House programs. We are currently 60% of the way to the goal. This specific grant provides much-needed unrestricted funding, which gives Samaritan House the flexibility to use the dollars where they are most needed.
