Case Management and Counseling

A case worker evaluates the financial, health, housing, educational and job needs of everyone who comes to Samaritan House and determines what services will help lead to self-sufficiency. A San Mateo County Benefits Analyst is also on-site at Samaritan House and coordinates with case managers to help clients enroll in government benefit programs such as CalFresh, Medi-Cal, CalWORKS. A dedicated team of case managers help people create personalized strategies for overcoming the hardships of multiple urgent needs.
